1The first (and second) week of my giving challenge has come and gone in a flash. I have been crazy busy brainstorming, designing and creating. I have so many things to finish and have been working on all of them at the same time. I feel like I have accomplished a lot but still have very little to show.

To get the ball rolling I thought I would give you a small taste of what I have been working on, PILLOWCASES. That has been my main focus for week #2. American Patchwork and Quilting has a 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge. Their dream is to brighten a world, one pillowcase at a time. What I found out this year is that local shops are participating in this challenge and they will take your pillowcases somewhere that needs them. This really helps. I made 10 pillowcases 2 years ago and I had a little trouble deciding where to donate them and never got around to submitting my donations to the challenge website.

So far, I have four to show you. I hope you like them.
