About Elisabeth DeMoo
I am a craft-o-holic. Something inside of me drives me to create and I embrace it. My list of projects in progress is always above 10. About three years ago, I started down a path that might take me to my major goal: becoming a fabric designer. This path has led me to creating this blog. I didn’t know very much about blogging, but I jumped in with both feet. Although my main focus is on quilting, I also love creating jewelry, taking photos and cooking. I try to keep my blog up-to-date but with two jobs it gets a little tough So please understand if I go MIA, I will be back soon!

Hello,
I love your Butterfly Quilt. I’m wondering if you would be able to supple the pattern to make just one butterfly block? I recently lost my mom and she loved butterflies. I would love to make my siblings a butterfly pillow and your pattern is the most beautiful I’ve seen yet. Thank you so much in advance.

I am so happy you like the quilt I made. I didn’t create the pattern for the butterfly only an alternative layout. I wouldn’t want to infringe on the pattern designers copy rights So I couldn’t recreated her patter. Incase you missed the pattern, here is the link to the pattern: https://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/assets/images/freepatterns/quiltpatterns/KewpieLoveFreePattern.pdf
It looks like if you wanted to make one block you would need the following fabrics:
5″ of white or background fabric
1″ of the butterfly body fabric
5 1/4″ of the butterfly wing fabric
I hope this helps!!

I won your beautiful fabric awhile back and I was hording it because I didn’t want to use it on just anything. I made something with it a few weeks ago and blogged about it here.(http://www.wowilikethat.com/phone-pouch-zipper-pattern/) The post has been very popular mostly because of your beautiful fabric. I had saved your package with your blog to write you and for the life of me couldn’t readily find it in all my mess but then I came across your giveaway and saw the pretty print on your blog heading. I really can’t thank you enough for the pretty fabric, you are so very talented. Do you sell that fabric? If so could you send me a link so I can posted it, I’ve had so many people comment on it. Thanks again.

Well I am not sure what quilt you are asking about… but I will take a stab at it. I have done two quilt posts on Rouenneries Deux fabric. The quilt that I made, it looks like steps, and I call Red Quilt was not made with a pattern. It was made with a Layered Cake(10″ x 10″ of fabric). I cut each square into 3 equal rectangles. I have wanted to make a pattern on this quilt and hope to soon. I have also made a post on a quilt that my sister made. It is simply beautiful. It is by Fig Tree & company and it is called Jelly Girl.
