Friendship Jewelry With Flair

The spirit of this entrepreneurial was born a very long time ago. Way back when I was in grade school, I would make friendship bracelets and sell them to my classmates. In collage I found myself making candles and jewelry with the hopes of selling them. My crafting journey has taken on many different faces. I still feel like I am throwing ideas on the wall to see which one sticks. As I explore all the different projects I sketched out and make them into reality my heart jumps with excitement and one thing leads to another. When I bought the trimmings for my cross body bag, that one with the tassels hanging from the lace… Well, I was inspired. I wanted to make sweet tart colored tassels. For that I needed embroidery floss… This led me down a rabbit hole and if one has floss, that someone is bound to make friendship bracelets!

Friendship Jewelry

These are my floss creations. I pulled in the different types of knotting I remembered from my childhood. I sprinkled in some beads I have stashed away in my 10+ bead boxes. So much mojo was flowing!! I had fun creating all sorts of items. I call this friendship jewelry because I intertwine the art of friendship bracelets with the sophistication of beading.

Tell me what your favorite piece of jewelry is in the comments below.
