I broke my toe in April. My toenail was also ripped up from the nail bed. It was not until mid-July that the broken bone healed. Since I could not play outside, sew, or even drive a lot, I was forced to branch out. Going stir-crazy at home, I decided to experiment with watercolor. I used one flower drawing that I liked and then duplicated it numerous times. I used different colors and different techniques.

I really enjoyed this exercise and will come back to it at a later date… creating a series of ink and watercolor flowers.
