Giveaway #3 of The Giving Challenge

I had so much fun reading all of the comments on your favorite things about Christmas. They took me down memory lane where I found my Holiday spirit. Thank you so much for sharing! The winner of the Week #2 Giveaway is …

Drum Roll…
Teressa P, Your yard of 25th and Pine plus honeycomb pack will be on the way to you soon. Please reply to my email with your address.

On to the next giveaway.  For Week #3 of my The Giving Challenge series I have a jellyroll plus a pattern. The fabric is by Fig Tree, the collection Somerset.  This designer is very talented,  I liked her California Girl Collection so much I used it for one of my Square Off Quilts. Her color choices are always so right. I think precuts are brilliant. Each collection is planed so well. Every fabric is beautiful by itself but in a collection they are spectacular!! I love them all and find it hard to decide which cut is better, Layered cakes, Jellyrolls, Charm packs, Honey Buns, Honeycombs, and still there is more… many more. To enter into this week’s giveaway (Week #3) from my Giving Challenge simply comment on this post. What is your favorite precut and why?

My favorite pre-cut is a charm pack. Because for a small amount I can have pieces of an entire line of fabric.

Thank you so much! I’m so excited. I’ve never worked with a honeycomb before. I’ll have to find out what I can do with it. Thanks 🙂

I like all the different pre-cuts, it just depends on the pattern/design which is my favorite.

I’ve never bought a precut other than a fat quarter. Don’t know why other than I’m fearful I will like the fabric and only have a little piece. Your quilt is beautiful. Just beautiful. Thanks for another great giveway.

It’s a toss-up between fat quarters and jelly rolls for me. I guess it’s really the fabric itself that is available and then I’ll choose it in whatever cut is offered!

I like the precision cut strips in jelly rolls, but I also like the versatility of fat quarters. Thanks for the great giveaway, and thanks for your inspiring blog!

I like all the precuts but the layer cake is my favorite. They are really versatile-one will make a twin size quilt easily and they can be cut down into charm packs too and used that way also. I have a couple jelly rolls but haven’t used them yet!

I guess I like fat quarters best as they are most versatile. But the others, like this jelly roll, are easy to use for specific purposes.

It would have to be charm squares, they are very versatile, quick 1/2 square triangles. Thanks for the chance. The fabric is lovely

give away 3, I like jelly rolls the best, as I usually let them sit quite awhile before stitching them up and they look like lovely stacks of pastries. jayfay1@cox.net

Fat Quarters are my go to pre-cut. You can make an entire twin size or full size quilt out of a 20 pack and still have scraps for the back or binding. Very economical cut, rarely any waste/scraps. Thank you so much for the introducing the Giving Challenge.

I love fat quarter collections because I have more options to work with the fabric and yet still get an affordable array from a line. I’m learning to love jelly rolls though–great for modern log cabins!
