Oh, how I love French General. They just create such elegant fabric. I think they are the porsche of quilting fabric. This is an older line from them called Rouenneries Deux. To make this quilt, I used a layered cake that I bought in Ruidoso, NM, at Martha’s Fabrics. The pattern is so easy. I saw a finished quilt that had this stair stepping of lines. After I decided to make it, I realized that it was very simple. In fact, I think it would make a great project for someone who has just started quilting.
